The NSX-Files 1999 Event Calendar

This upcoming year, Wayne and I plan on running with four main clubs.   They are PRO Racing, Touring Car Club, Alfa Romeo Club of Southern California, and the NSX Club of America.  We also added the Nevada Silver State Challenge. Below is a brief description(from my point of view) of the clubs:

PRO Racing - Full on wheel-to-wheel racing, usually one or two hour long enduro races.   You need full safety equipment:  Roll cage, five point harness, tow hooks in front and back of car, fire extinguisher, battery cut off switch, nomex, helmet, etc.  Contact Dave at PRO Racing - 818-509-0257, www.pro-racing.org , email  tre@earthlink.net for more info.

Alfa Romeo Club of Southern California - Time Trial and wheel-to-wheel sprint races. You will need five point harness and fire extinguisher and helmet for time trial groups, and rollbar/cage/nomex/window net for race group.   Typical weekend is on Saturday you get three or four sessions, each 20-30 minutes long of practice.  On Sunday, you get one or two sessions of practice, then a 10-12 lap sprint race, and the time trialers get about 5 timed laps. Touring Car Club - Time Trial and wheel-to-wheel sprint races. NSXCA is the NSX Club of America. Big NSX Club meeting at Monterey May 5-9.  If ya got an NSX, be there.   www.nsx.net/nsxca.  Mark Johnson is heading up the Holtville event.  Seat belts/helmets required.

May 13-16  Nevada Silver State Challenge is a high speed event on Nevada's Hwy 318.  We need a team of 10 NSXs in order to compete against the other car clubs.  Contact Dennis Antenucci at itbewild@gte.net.  More info at www.phenry.com/sscc

For all clubs above, your car must past the safety inspection.  Be sure to get exact details of what your cars has to have on it WEEKS before the event, incase you have to order something.  All convertibles have to have a rollbar/rollcage.
