April 6th - Time Trial #1 - Spring Mountain Raceway - Pahrump

The Pahrump Nugget will be our headquarters hotel for the start of the Open Track Challenge.  It is located about 8 minutes from the Pahrump Track.  For those of you who need a place with an RV hookup click here.   For those of you staying in Las Vegas the previous night instead of Pahrump, it will probably take you 80 minutes to get to the track, including the time it will take to fill up your tank prior to entering the track.  The road is HEAVILY patrolled.  There is NO gas of any kind available at the track, so you should you fill up your tank just before you arrive at the track.  There is no gas south of the track on Highway 160, other than a station just outside of Las Vegas.  Therefore, you should fill your tank at the gas station closest to the track, which is a Mobil station on the East side of Highway 160, about 2-3 miles north of the track, just before you get to Pahrump.  If you need 100-octane fuel, it should be available  at the Rebel station in Pahrump, about 4-5 miles north of the Mobil station.

April 7th - Time Trials #2 - Las Vegas Motor Speedway

April 8th - Time Trial #3 - Buttonwillow Raceway

Most drivers usually stay at the Good Night Inn or the Motel 6.  Buttonwillow is a truck town, so there ain't much here except for hotels, fast food restaurants, and gas stations.

April 9th/10th - Time Trial # 4 & 5 - Thunderhill Raceway

Best Western Golden Pheasant Inn, Days Inn, and Super 8 are the hotels that most drivers stay at.  These three hotels are about 10 minutes from the track.

April 11th - Time Trial #6 - Willow Springs Raceway

Most drivers usually stay at the Devonshire Inn Motel (there isn't much in Rosamond) or The Essex House in Lancaster.  The John J Inn is a little nicer, but more expensive.
